Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent Hotel & Conference Center

I stayed in the hotel from 30/04/20205 till 02/05/2025 for a business trip then spent couple mor days to explore the wonderful city of Istanbul. I had an exceptional experience with Hakan, the bellman at Wyndham Grand Hotel. He went above and beyond in providing outstanding service. Not only did he assist me with my luggage, but he also took the extra step of helping me coordinate with my Uber driver who was having trouble locating the hotel. His pleasant demeanor and cooperative attitude made a significant difference to my stay. Hakan demonstrated true hospitality by being attentive, helpful, and ensuring my comfort from arrival until departure. His professional and friendly service is exactly what you hope to find at a quality hotel. I highly recommend acknowledging his excellent work.

Newly updated rooms with a nice view. While the building is quite tall, I found the elevators to be fast and never having a long wait. The price is decent, service is fine, and the breakfast is very good. The outside food rule is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I’ve never seen this at a hotel in Istanbul or anywhere abroad.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's prime location in the heart of Istanbul's Levent district offers direct access to the Levent Metro Station, making exploring the city's iconic landmarks incredibly convenient. Additionally, being directly connected to the ÖzdilekPark Shopping Center and nearby malls like Kanyon and Metrocity provides ample shopping and dining options.​ The check-in process was smooth and efficient upon arrival, with the front desk staff extending a warm welcome. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of Istanbul's skyline. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. In-room amenities such as a well-appointed work desk, interactive LCD TV with satellite channels, and an electronic safe added convenience.​ The hotel's facilities are top-notch, featuring a 5,500-square-meter spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and a 2,400-square-meter outdoor fitness area. These amenities cater to relaxation and wellness, enhancing the overall stay experience. The dining options are diverse and cater to various culinary preferences, ensuring that every guest finds something to their liking.​ The staff's professionalism and attentiveness were noteworthy, consistently ensuring that all needs were met promptly. I recently stayed at Wyndham Istanbul for 7 nights and had mixed feelings about the experience. While there were positive aspects, some issues left a negative impression. We booked our rooms two months in advance to ensure that we could stay next to each other. While we didn’t get rooms adjacent to each other, we were at least on the same floor, which was acceptable. It wasn’t ideal, but we managed. One major issue we faced was regarding their policy on outside food, specifically fast food. My niece is a picky eater and refused to eat anything from their menu, so we brought her food from outside. While I was discussing the matter with the receptionist, they were very understanding and professional, trying to calm me down and find a way to address the situation amicably. However, the manager, Mehmet, intervened and escalated the situation unnecessarily. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, he started shouting and insisting this would be both the first and last time we could bring outside food, emphasizing their policy in a rude and confrontational manner. This response was completely uncalled for, especially given the receptionist’s earlier calm and respectful handling of the situation. The manager’s behavior left a very negative impression. Cleanliness was a significant disappointment: • During our 7-night stay, the bed sheets were only changed once, and that was after I explicitly requested it. • The floors were not properly vacuumed, and I could see dust and bread crumbs left untouched throughout our stay. • It seemed like they either didn’t vacuum the rooms regularly or had an issue with maintaining basic cleanliness standards. Another minor but irritating problem was with the water bottles. They did not provide adequate bottles unless we specifically requested them, which was inconvenient. On a positive note, most of the staff were respectful and helpful, with the exception of the aforementioned incident involving the manager. The rest of the team made an effort to provide good service. The breakfast at Wyndham Istanbul was exceptional and remains one of the main reasons I return to this hotel. The variety, quality, and overall experience were outstanding and truly a highlight of the stay. The location is another strong point for this hotel. It’s surrounded by three malls, has restaurants nearby, and the underground station is just across the street, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. While Wyndham Istanbul has its strengths, such as its location and excellent breakfast, the lack of cleanliness, poor management in handling conflicts, and strict outside food policies left me disappointed. If the management addresses these issues, it would significantly improve the overall guest experience. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but only because of the breakfast and location. I sincerely hope they take feedback seriously and make improvements for future guests.

Personally the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. £10 (550 lira) for a single beer. £40 for lamb chops which was possibly the smallest portion of food I’ve ever eaten for the price. They didn’t have vanilla ice cream, broccoli, peppercorn sauce or even gravy. Very very poor from a hotel of this standard at almost £200 per night. The pool was also closed and half of the hotel was under construction. The rooms are nice enough and the location is convenient; other than that I would not recommend.
