Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamış Marina Hotel

Amazing, Amazing and amazing. Can’t tell enough of the comfort in this hotel. The entire team, super nice super friendly and super professional. I stayed there for 2 times in January and February for about 2 weeks each and this gave me enough tome to evaluate and give a fair review. They deserve 10 stars and 5 is not enough. Cleanness, CSR service and rooms that are well designed and so beautiful. Food is amazing, staff are unbelievably trained to give you the best service. Would highly recommend them and I am going back in June for 2 weeks with my family. Special thanks to Mrs. Ege duty manager, and Merve guest services to make my stay feel like home. They are the best I wish they would work with me and for my company 👌🏼. Other names are Umut, Gulen and Hazal lobby bar which was my everyday spot to work and chil. They are simply the best with the level of service they give you. Alihan and Anday in reception that made my check in and check out smooth and easy with a warm welcoming attitude. These are the name I remember but the entire team in morning and night shift are wonderful people. Hard to believe. Thank you again and will see you in June. Sanaz room 453.

Everything was perfect ♥️😍 it was my birthday trip, the hotel is amazing, all the furniture, the style of the whole hotel is exactly my taste, the room looks amazing, I had a beautiful room with a window to the bathroom, just wow🥰🥰 the staff is very friendly and sweet, always wants to help and ask how are you. Ayse from the guest service helped me a lot with a room decoration for my birthday I ordered, it was so beautiful decorated, it made my birthday incredible, I also had a tasty cake and a champagne! I'm really satisfied with a stay and I gonna be back very soon Thanks to all the staff made me feel very welcome and appreciated😍🫶🏻

I had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Kalamis Grand Hotel for three nights, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. The location is great, offering easy access to local attractions and beautiful views. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely return in the future!

It’s hard to pick a location when you are in Istanbul because there are so many different neighborhoods. This location is not very touristy but has a convenient bus line that is a block away that will bring you to the fairies and downtown Kadikoy relatively easily. The commuter train is a 10 minute walk away from the hotel and for 40 lira. It will bring you to the European side and 25 minutes, which is often faster than a taxi however sometimes is not consistent. We enjoy taking the bus or just walking to the port and taking the ferry to the European side It’s a really cute location because it’s next to a park where there are plenty of cats so I was always cheerful to start our day walking around the cats. We had a sea side view room. We would recommend staying in the middle or top floors because often times the noise from the lower floors would reach us until around midnight. I think there’s a club inside this hotel that is banging and rocking on the weekends. We stayed on the first floor. The front desk does speak English, but I felt like they were a little rough, but that might just be a cultural thing. after check-in. I thought the staff were great. The dining options around the hotel weren’t that bad but also not super amazing . There are many grocery stores near to the hotel. So the reason I chose this hotel over other hotels in this area is because I needed to stay under the Asian side and I wanted a good gym. This one probably has the best gym in all of the Asian side hotels. However, I did not like the hours because it was not open early enough and closed too early The weekend hours it closes even earlier, especially on Saturday. It’s also not clearly posted and I never really figured it out but I know that Saturday I tried to go at 9:30 and it was closed. I also think the hotel gym doesn’t open until like seven in the morning.

This is not a five-star hotel in the slightest. Edit - Also scammers!! Tried to add 43€ onto my bill as ‘service charge’, for the shocking service I encountered during my stay. Beware!!! Thieves Upon arrival, I found the staff unfriendly, and as a female English-speaking traveler, I felt treated differently than other guests. The gym and indoor pool were overcrowded with locals, making it uncomfortable; on one occasion, children were loudly learning to swim, and the jacuzzi was unhygienic. To add to this, I was shocked to find wet sheets in my room one morning. The concierge was unhelpful and rude, and hotel prices for basic items, like a glass of wine, were outrageous. The presence of a metal detector at reception felt more like entering a prison than a luxury hotel. Despite many staff members around, there was no doorman to assist. My room had a flashing smoke alarm that kept me awake, and on Saturday night, loud music from a rooftop event went on until 3 AM, disrupting any peace. I cannot recommend this hotel in the slightest, horrible stay! Avoid if possible.
