Uranus Istanbul Topkapi

Umeyuma was a best crew who helped me during staying in istanbul. You will have a wonderful experience that every crews in this hotel help you not to be lost from the moment you book this hotel. I met my shuttle car right after i arrived because from the flight we kept contact by whats app. Booked shuttle time was 1hous later but hotel rearranged and tried to find me asap. While i took a city tour , i used uber and lost the road, the driver couldnt speak english. I called the reception using whats app and she(that time working in reception) talked with the driver and i could get to the hotel. The room and breakfirst are normal. But the crews are the best I ve ever met. EVERY CREWS AND BELLBOYS.. Really all!!!!

I stayed at Uraus Hotel from 27–31 January and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is ideal — convenient and well-positioned for exploring the city. The facilities, including the gym and spa services, were well maintained and added real value to my stay. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was consistently impressive, from the rooms to the common areas. A special thank you to Oumaima, the Guest Relations Officer, who was incredibly helpful and attentive during my stay. I also appreciate Sema, the Sales Representative, for taking the time to meet with me, arrange a tour, and facilitate my room upgrade — that level of professionalism truly stood out. From reception to housekeeping, every staff member was exceptionally warm and welcoming. As a travel agent, I am very particular about service standards, and I would confidently recommend this hotel to my clients and colleagues.

Hazal, Manager emre, Umeyma the stay at the Uranus Hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always there to help assist us and were very friendly. They spoke very good English which helped a lot. The room was large and had a wonderful view. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing. My son didn’t want to leave the bed. The bathroom was a great size with all new fixtures. The shower tap was confusing to use though. The morning breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of different foods.

Umeyma was so helpful to us. I was here with my wife a month ago and we were impressed with the service. After touring your beautiful country she left on feb 20. I stayed behind for a procedure and now I will leave back to USA. Thank you for your hospitality

The Hotel decor and amenities are lovely. Some of the staff were very nice and professional. Especially the doorman that was usually on staff, had a very subtly warm demeanor. Some, but not all of the reception staff seemed a little cold. The daily included breakfast was really disappointing. I ended up staying there for 10 nights And after maybe three or four in a row I just couldn't eat or anymore. The buffet pics look nice on the website but in person, I just did not like the selections. Warm side dishes were always cold even when I was there right at opening time. Not one good pastry. Breads and pastries were all very dry. The milk I would get from the hotel I would keep in my mini fridge for my tea and coffee. I ended up using one of the empty complimentary room water bottles to store in the fridge but it would spoil within 2 days. And it always had a bad smell. :/ could have been a difference in Turkish milk but I checked online and looks like they have mostly pasteurized milk so it shouldn't go bad quickly. My shower valve was broken and I could never get a good shower, temperature would never stay in one place and would always migrate to two hot or too cold and needed constant adjusting. but I could have contacted the property about it but I just decided to let them know on my way out. The room was very nice and comfortable. It would be nice to have mini fridges with freezers but I guess that's a lot to ask for a hotel room. I noticed that they don't provide any small face or hand towels which I thought was odd so anytime I needed a little wipe of the hands I had to use a larger towel. And my biggest grape besides the terrible hotel breakfast, was the price of the hotel room service. The food here was about three times the prices of comparable restaurant would be in the States which just does not equate to the conversion rate. It's extremely price-gouged. For example first night they ordered a chicken dinner that came with rice, fries, a roasted green pepper, and a creamy garlic sauce. With an apple juice and a milk. Came to $48. The lamb chop dinner would have been $67. Foreigner pricing.
