The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, Katameya Dunes

I had an amazing experience during my stay. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the room service was attentive to all special requests. The staff were incredibly welcoming—special thanks to Mr. Mark and Ms. Amina for going above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The hotel’s landscape was serene and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the pool area, which featured a great bar, comfortable chaises longues inside the water, and a beautiful crystalline section that added to the luxury feel. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options catering to different cultural preferences. I would definitely return for another peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

We’ve luckily been able to travel to many countries and stayed in many hotels in our lifetime. This resort this will definitely go down as the best place we’ve ever stayed at! The staff at the resort were truly exceptional—hardworking, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and offered stunning views. If you like golf, you’ll love their stunning golf course!! The resort honestly was the perfect pick to make our trip to Egypt an 11/10!!

My recent visit to the Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, Katameya Dunes, was genuinely spectacular, an experience made even better by the incredible staff. I particularly want to share my sincere appreciation for Mr. Fawqy, the Duty Manager, and Mr. Saeed. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff went above and beyond, ensuring a smooth check-in and anticipating all my needs. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made me feel truly valued and welcome. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds and excellent facilities. However, it's the dedication and personalized care from individuals such as Mr. Fawqy and Mr. Saeed that elevate a great hotel to an exceptional one. I left thoroughly impressed. I will most certainly be returning and highly recommend the Westin Cairo to anyone seeking a luxurious and welcoming stay in Cairo. The hotel is nice with a great view of the golf course, but overall we were disappointed. Service and facilities felt average for the high price. The pool was lovely, yet often spoiled by day visitors and guests not following rules, with servers and lifeguards inconsistent in enforcing the adult pool policy. Loud speakers were even allowed, despite security saying on check-in they weren’t permitted. Breakfast was also a bit bland and didn’t match the standard expected for the price.

⭐️ I had a very disappointing experience with the hospitality at The Westin Cairo. Although we were welcomed nicely at first, we were left waiting for more than 30 minutes just to get information about wedding packages and room reservations. The manager, Ahmed Emam, was extremely unprofessional — he did not provide any clear details, nor was he helpful in answering our questions. For a hotel of this standard, I expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I cannot recommend the Westin Cairo to anyone looking for reliable service or serious event arrangements.
