The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo

I stayed at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo for three nights last week while attending business meetings, and my overall experience was truly exceptional. The first thing that stood out to me was the hotel’s prime location. Situated right on the Nile River and in the heart of downtown Cairo, it made getting around extremely convenient. Being just a short walk from the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square was a huge advantage, especially with a busy schedule. My room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, perfectly combining luxury and relaxation. The view of the Nile from my room was simply stunning, adding a sense of calm and serenity to my stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were excellent, and everything I needed was thoughtfully provided. The service was outstanding. The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. Their efficiency and attention to detail made me feel truly well taken care of throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious and diverse, and enjoying it on the terrace overlooking the Nile made for a perfect start to each day. In summary, my stay at The Nile Ritz-Carlton was comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. The combination of an unbeatable location, excellent service, beautiful facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere makes it an easy choice. Without a doubt, this will be my top pick for future visits to Cairo, whether for business or leisure.

Stayed 4 nights at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo and it was a delight. My biggest tip is to make sure you order the Mixed Grill from room service. I got it three times. Worth every dime.

Overall, it's a good hotel, spacious room size. Nile view with great amenities especially the Gym is well equipped. Breakfast is great alot of options. They have kids play area near the pool. Lobby cafe is nice.

Our room smelled HEAVILY of smoke. There is no way to air anything out. I complained to the front desk and they sent someone to spray air freshener to cover it, which did nothing. For a non-smoking room it was gross and now we smell. The decor is older. Also if you are not on the nile side bright lights are pointed to your window at night. The curtains covered most of that, but it was somewhat annoying. We had a suite, and it was disappointing for this brand. The restaurant was very nice, food was good, but you can stay elsewhere and just eat here. Front desk was not very accommodating. We arrived in the evening yet still had to wait for our smokers den to be “ready.” We were very tired or we would have switched hotels then. I just hope I can get the smell out of my belongings. The rest of the property outside our room is lovely, the restaurants have good food and the afternoon tea was awesome. Service in the lounge is very nice, the staff there is very accommodating.

We booked a suite and when we came at 6pm, they told us that there’s no room for us and that we should wait for 2 hours. No apologies, no excuses. We tried to talk to the manager with no result. The hotel itself is not a 5 star, the smell inside is disgusting. Poor management. No service on the lounge, no staff on the lobby bar. Avoid this hotel.
