We accidentally booked the tasting menu when we were trying to book for restaurant week but they were very nice and quickly fixed it to accommodate us. Will and another will were our servers and they were fantastic, they were very helpful and friendly. The food was wonderful, we had the tuna and pork tenderloin as well as the steak tartar. Everything was great.

We came in as a walk in and had an excellent time! We chose the chef tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was delicious. The signature egg on egg on egg was a highlight and the wine was paired perfectly with every course. Hope, our waitress, was a particular delight. She was friendly, informative, highlighted important points on the menu, and was just a pleasure to engage with. The Modern is lucky to have her!

One of the best meals I've ever had! Every dish was perfect- creative, visually exciting, and balanced flavor. Interesting pairings (sashimi with citrus), incredible venison with rich sauce, dessert with perfect sweetness. 115 for 3 course price fixed (lunch only for restaurant week)(- tasting menu 275). I didn't do wine pairing. Maddie was my server- great! Pleasant atmosphere, very laid back and casual. Superlative in every way!

Came to check the place out after a quick pop into the MoMA for an event and was reminded not only of the light airy style and design of the space but the amazing service and staff. Had a light bites and drinks and had the gem and kale salad and caviar hot dogs which were tiny but delicious. Will have to come back and try more of the menu.

Exceptional and creative. I was lucky to be part of a private event and enjoyed a cleverly designed tasting menu and drinks seamlessly tied into the event theme. The restaurant itself has a busy scene, full of corporate midtown dinners and cocktails on a weekday night. I'd happily come back on a sunny day to enjoy the backyard of moma and the memorable food and experience. Highly recommended for any special occasion. Enjoy!
