The Dilly

Fantastic 3 night stay at The Dilly as part of our honeymoon. Location is brilliant. Walking distance from everything you could ever want to see or do in central London. Gym and swim facilities fantastic too! Thomas on reception went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. He was polite, friendly and engaging - a real credit to the hotel. All staff were welcoming and fantastic. Fatima on guest relations - we never got chance to say thank you but your special touches for our room were brilliant. Thank you. An overall fantastic experience and would recommend to all. Cannot fault anything.

I stayed at the Dilly Hotel for my mum's birthday and had an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I had given the team a heads-up in advance that it was a special occasion, but they went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. When we arrived, the room was beautifully prepared with balloons and treats - my mum was absolutely speechless and delighted. It really meant so much to us that the staff put in so much extra thought and effort. The stay itself was also excellent, but it’s those personal touches that made the experience so special. I couldn’t recommend the Dilly Hotel enough for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a truly welcoming stay.

We had a great time staying in the Dilly. Location was perfect, hotel room was beautiful (thank you so much for the upgrade and champagne for my birthday) All staff were a pleasure to deal with, and they genuinely wanted to help you. Breakfast in the Terrace was a lovely experience. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, and we are already planning our next visit.

The hotel is market as a 5 star on Google, (I haven't checked their star rating on official website), but I wouldn't give it more than 3. The rooms and most things in the hotel is very old. Service is good, but not 5 star either. More like in between 3 and 4 stars, but I gave it 4. The only good thing about this hotel is location, and a reasonable price.

Very disappointed with the Dilly. Most of the rooms are facing inside where the windows facing brick walls of another buildings. The rooms are very old and has musty smell. Most of the TV channels are not working. The TV turn off by itself while we are watching. Definitely it doesn’t worth the amount of money and definitely doesn’t deserve the 5-STAR rating. Update: came back to our room and room service put the dirty cloths from the bathroom, along with dirty towels on top of our luggage (including clean clothes). When we told the front desk, they weren’t surprised and just sent someone to take the dirty towels! I could be wrong but I don’t expect this from 5 STAR hotel. The TV still not working appropriately. They said they will send someone to check for two days, nothing happened! When I spoke to the manager, she seems to be careless and said “we will address the concerns in the future!” 😆
