Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel

The staff were very friendly. We were able to get our room upgraded for free! The rooms are spacious, and the beds are oh so comfy. The breakfast the Paris Club was delicious! So many options. The property is beautiful with a good location. We were about a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. I will be coming back here soon!

We booked our stay for my wife's birthday. We chose the Eiffel Tower view and we were not disappointed. The staff was extremely helpful and the room was very large and had a perfect view. The staff made dining recommendations and reservations. They even arranged transportation to the airport which made the trip very easy.

We had a wonderful family stay at Sofitel Paris Baltimore during our recent trip to Paris. The hotel is charming and elegant, with a boutique feel that’s warm and inviting. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and close to cafés, shops, and convenient metro access. It was a great base for exploring the city. Our room was comfortable and beautifully designed, with a classic Parisian touch and thoughtful amenities. It was on the smaller side for a family, but well appointed and kept impeccably clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with high-end toiletries and fluffy towels. The staff was friendly for the most part, other than the young lady who helped check us in. The concierge was very helpful in offering restaurant suggestions and even making reservations for us, and the doormen always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast at the hotel was very good—fresh croissants, eggs, and plenty of options to please both adults and kids. The dining room was cozy and elegant. The only reason we’re giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that while the service was consistently kind, it didn’t always feel as polished or attentive as other properties we’ve stayed at. A few small details were occasionally missed (like replenishing water or turn-down service), but overall these were minor points.

I booked 6 nights of junior suite of this hotel. I was assigned to room 201 at about Aug 21st 7:00. After I entered the room, I found it is not the junior suite I booked. it is wet, noisy and around 100 square feet smaller than the junior suite I have booked. you can tell the details from the photos I uploaded. So I went to the front desk and asked the hotel staff to change my room because it is not the junior suite I booked. The female staff said it is the same as what they described on the website and agent website in which it said junior suite is 300 square feet with city view. The male staff said the website is just an attraction and I can’t expect the same. After I insisted to change room, they responded with “I have told your there is no available room”“ I will not talk with you” “ act like an adult” . On the following morning I called the agent which I booked the hotel from, Another front desk staff changed my room to 210 which is a junior suite, more close to the website description. Other staffs of this hotel is good except the two front desk staff of on my first day, The female staff’s attitude is especially bad, my vacation is totally ruined by this. In summary, with this hotel you need to accept what room they assigned to you no matter what you booked or else you will be treated very badly. If you read other 1 star / 2 star review even the 4 star review you will find room downgrade with no reason and rudeness of individual staffs is long-lasting issue of this hotel. I filed complains on the accor websites and the only response I got is automated reply. No one cares customer‘s experience.
