Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Cairo, and I must say, their service is truly world-class! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to my every need. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and well-appointed. Whether it was the front desk, concierge, or housekeeping, everyone was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. The Sheraton Casino Hotel is a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Cairo. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are incredibly soft. Having somewhere quiet and comfortable is the perfect antidote after a long day exploring the city. The Club Lounge is a nice perk if you have access. It’s quiet, offers a great selection of snacks and drinks, and provides a fantastic city view. A great spot to unwind. Service is attentive, and the coffee is great. On a clear day (which is not often) you can see the pyramids from the top floors .. although must confess my photos were taken with a good zoom lens.

The hotel is well placed, very good rooms, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and with a direct view on the Nile. The restaurant team is very nice, friendly and professional. However I had the worst check in experience ever. For the context, it was 09:00 pm in Cairo. Hotel was booked by my company and I presented the payment proof (voucher with a clear mention paid ) but at the counter we (with my colleague) were asked to present (physically) the virtual credit card used for the payment as they can’t see the payment otherwise we will not have our rooms. The only solution offered was to call the booking agency in the uk and to have them paying via a secured link that they will receive by email. The manager did not offer any other solution, I was expecting at least something like « no worries, here is your room we will fix that tomorrow or you can use your own credit card at least for the first night as a guarantee » but NO according to the manager it was not possible. When I said that we will never use this brand/ hotel the answer was sorry to hear that but still NO other solution. The manager was not at all customer oriented and even with a friendly smile and a calm tone did offer any flexibility. Finally we had our room, with an upgrade as a gesture, after midnight, knowing that we were traveling since 4am… The hotel replied the 15/03/2025, saying that we refused the solution offered to pay the first night as a guarantee which is partially true… they offered that solution but to pay with the virtual credit card used for the booking.. which obviously we do not have with us and I was very clear on that part and we offered to pay with our own credit card. Also I contacted my manager in the UK to call the booking agency and then your team called and did not even choose the right option to have the customer support, we had to call again and find out that your team was not choosing the right option. However everything was solved late …but solved, once again we were not happy with the lack of the flexibility and customer experience at the check in not sure if it was a process or a human issue and that’s it, the rest was good

Beautiful hotel! We had such. Pleasant staff and all staff members were very friendly! We had a room on the high floor so it was very peaceful and quiet when we were resting at night after a long day out. I absolutely enjoyed our view of the Nile River and you can see the Giza Pyramids in the distance! Highly recommend this hotel!

Well located and convenient hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was a little dusty but otherwise very nice. Big shout out to the staff member in Studio 70 who was very attentive on our visit. The hotel is a little bit of a maze and clearer signage would be helpful when trying to find your way around.
