Shangri-La Al Husn, Muscat – Adults Only Resort

We are giving a full 5-star rating without hesitation because this resort offers everything you would expect from a high-end, adults-only, beachfront hotel. We stayed for about a week in January. The days were pleasantly warm, while the evenings were a bit cooler. Throughout our stay, the staff was consistently courteous, friendly, and attentive. We felt recognized and well taken care of. Although the hotel is not brand new, it is impeccably maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and serviced to the highest standard. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and meticulously cared for. Breakfast is outstanding—great variety, excellent quality, and incredibly friendly, attentive staff. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace was always a pleasure. The happy hours, including afternoon tea and evening drinks with delicious bites, were a daily highlight. The pool is large and perfect for swimming, while the hotel’s private beaches are pristine and well-maintained. The service at both the pool and beach areas is equally outstanding, with staff always ready to assist. Final Verdict: We felt completely at ease and will definitely return on our next trip to Oman. Highly recommended!

We had the perfect weekend getaway, cleanbeach overlooking magnificent rocks, free kayak and snorkeling gear available to enjoy the fish and swim with turtles! Staff in all departments are friendly and professional Breakfast view was amazing but the dishes aren’t that great unfortunately. For room dining I highly recommend the bolognese spaghetti and the omani lobster The beef burger at the beach and souvlaki both ok but not great, whish there was fried chicken on the beach menu The hotel is a bit far and hotel taxi is expensive, better make arrangements with your taxi for following rides to town (14 instead of 20 OMR) And within town use otaxi but its not allowed within hotels so meet them outside for a third of the price of hotels (unfortunately cant do that in Shangri-la because of the far gate)

There is not one thing I can say I did not like about this hotel. The location is amazing, spectacular views of the sea. The staff are the best I’ve ever experienced and cannot do enough to enhance your stay. Nothing is too difficult , they are super efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The rooms are lovely and spotlessly cleaned each day. Had the pleasure of meeting Nick the manager who is around the hotel checking on guests and happy to chat. The breakfast is an absolute pleasure with the views from the breakfast room making a wonderful start to your day. Loved the pool, the private beach and wandering over to the sister hotel for water sports and dinning . We will definitely be revisiting this amazing hotel.

The most hospitable Welcome by staff. Our entire stay was impeccable - first class. We could not have chosen a more relaxing and picturesque location to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The massage I received from Jessie at the Laban Spa was one of the best massages I’ve experienced. Thank you for making our celebration memorable.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Shangri-La Al Husn in Muscat in September 2023. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. It felt like we had the entire hotel to ourselves, with everything included, making it impossible to get bored. The food was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options. The entertainment was engaging, and the rooms were spacious, luxurious, and impeccably maintained. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—truly unforgettable.
