We visited on Saturday, 13th December, for a surprise birthday dinner for my partner, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The service was impeccable – Leonardo in particular deserves special mention for being absolutely faultless: attentive, professional, and warm without ever being intrusive. Every member of the team was superb and made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was sublime – beautifully presented and bursting with flavour – and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. After dinner, we enjoyed a drink at the stunning bar, which was the ideal way to end an unforgettable evening. Thank you to everyone at Searcys for making this special evening for my partner’s birthday so memorable. We cannot wait to return and experience your outstanding hospitality again!

I went there to celebrate my friend birthday, I always wanted to visit the top of the ‚gherkin’. The restaurant is situated on 34th floor and the view is amazing, you can enjoy your food looking over Tower Bridge and river Thames. The restaurant is not too big and it’s lacking style but obviously you get the view. For dinner you can choose 3 course menu for £57. The food was ok for that price. I feel that the service was rushed, we didn’t even sit down at the table and was asked straight away if we want something to drink. We were the only one there as the place was empty so I felt Like there is no need to rush us. Otherwise nice experience, they also have the bar on top where you can enjoy 360 view over London.

We had a reservation at 8:00 p.m.; as soon as we arrived upstairs, we were seated right away. The food was excellent, and the service as well. The views make it a truly memorable dinner.

We visited Searcys at the Gherkin last night, and overall it was a disappointing experience. The food portions were very small, and the quality and flavours were underwhelming, especially the dessert, which lacked any special taste. The view was absolutely beautiful, though – probably the only highlight of the evening. They served us bread and butter complimentary, which was nice. However, we ordered Diet Coke, but were given regular Coke instead. We had booked the 3-course set menu, but were only served two courses. When I asked about the dessert, the waitress insisted we hadn’t ordered it — only after I reminded her did they bring it out. It was also my partner’s birthday, and the restaurant was informed in advance. They were supposed to bring a birthday platter, but didn’t — I had to remind them in front of my partner, which completely ruined the surprise. The “birthday platter” turned out to be just a small piece of pastry with some chocolate writing on a napkin, which was quite disappointing. When we left, no one came to say goodbye or acknowledge us, which is unusual for a fine dining place. Overall, apart from the view, nothing felt special. There are many other fine dining restaurants in London offering better food, larger portions, and much better service at a similar price point.

I really wanted to like the food here but it really wasn't great. For the starter I had the vegetable broth. The broth tasted like perfume and I can't understand how anyone would think it tastes nice. So that was disappointing. The pork belly for my main was just ok, nothing special. For dessert I had the chocolate tart which was nice but the tart was so hard I had to use my hands to cut through it. The bread was really nice and was probably the best part of the meal. Everything was well presented and service was fine. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return or recommend.
