Restaurant Kei

Kei is, without a doubt, the best restaurant experience I’ve had so far. We’ve dined there several times, witnessing its rise from one Michelin star to the prestigious three-star level, a testament to its relentless pursuit of excellence. The culinary artistry is simply breathtaking, offering a glimpse of what a chef can create at the very peak of their craft. Truly, thank you for these unforgettable moments. We will absolutely be back!

My wife and I both thought the best thing we ate on our trip to Europe was from here. It's the one that looks like a flower "Blood orange iced parfait, yuzu sorbet, meringue and citrus sauce with jasmin." Service, food, and presentation were all very good (like the standard 3 michelin star). I really enjoyed the Japanese touches of the food. The menu was on the pricier as we got the grand horizon menu (~500 euro per person) but I would say it was worth it.

Simply sublime! Second time to Kei and quality was same as first time last year. Been thinking about returning to Kei for a whole year. Horizon menu included smoked Scottish lobster and brilliant combo wage beef and wagu tartar accompaniment. Garden salad with lemon foam was truly magical. Also langoustine tartar with apple sorbet. Service always on point, never stuffy. Thank you again for a beautiful Paris memory.

Food was good, though I had higher expectations. The service to refill drinks was slow. I had to repeatedly ask for them to fill up my cup. The room also felt warm and I wish they had the AC cooling more.

Extremely extremely disappointed. I paid for the more expensive option and got pretty much the same as other tables got. I checked and no difference worth hundreds of dollars. The amount and the flavor especially, that came out was NOT 3 Michelin-star worthy. The oyster with the cold ball on top was too citric and strange with the oysters, a goop of just cream for one of the dishes, and the ball dessert was a weird combination as well. The Salad was the only thing that was gastronomically innovative and delicious but i didn't pay over $1100 for a good salad.. And the most patronizing part of the entire meal was the ending. I came to Paris (Europe) for the first time in my life and celebrated my 30th birthday there but they gave me a plate of chocolate sauce that wrote out 'Happy Birthday'.... and stuck a candle into a grape. I dont know if it was discrimination or not but I heard from a friend that they even called a hotel to get her dress from her hotel room and brought it to the restaurant just for her. But I got chocolate sauce and a grape for my birthday. Holy difference... I couldn't even take a picture of that plate out of sheer embarrassment or i didnt want them misunderstanding that i was taking a picture because i was happy with it.
