Restaurant Guy Savoy

I have been to this restaurant 2 times. March. 2019 and March 2023. Both times were spectacular. You truly feel like a king for the day. The first time I went with my wife and had a very special lunch. The second time we took or 6 year old son and a family friend. The setting, the service, the food, the wine are all more than I can put into words. A truly world class experience!!

Amazing dinner with friends, a place to go. Great experience and beautiful atmosphere. Different dinning rooms. Food and presentation was just amazing. We had the pleasure to have Mr Guy SAVOY coming to our table few times and discuss. I don't understand Michelin removed 1☆ star from his 3☆☆☆ well deserved that he had since 2002. Dinner at Guy Savoy in Paris was a genuinely enjoyable experience. With two Michelin stars, the restaurant delivers on what you would expect – refined food, excellent service, and a calm, well-paced atmosphere that lets each course speak for itself. We opted for the smaller tasting menu recommended by the chef de service, which offered a wide range of flavours and textures. Each dish was carefully composed and focused on highlighting the main ingredient without distraction. The food felt confident and well-considered, without being overly elaborate. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the signature artichoke soup, served with a warm truffle croissant and truffle butter. Following the chef’s recommendation, we ate it with our hands – tearing the croissant, dipping it into the soup, and licking buttery truffle from our fingers. It was unexpectedly fun, a little messy, and all the better for it. The flavours were rich and earthy, the textures indulgent, and the experience itself added a surprising sense of joy and freedom to such an elegant setting. Service throughout the evening was professional and relaxed, striking a good balance between attentiveness and ease. The sommelier’s wine pairings worked perfectly with the dishes and made for enjoyable conversation as well. Overall, this was a well-executed and enjoyable evening – the kind of place you leave feeling quietly impressed. Ideal for a special night out, or for those who enjoy thoughtful food in a calm and elegant setting.

Amazing lunch experience with wine pairing. The artichoke and truffle soup was insanely good! Food was incredible, wine pairing exceptional. Food was not too much, I would have had one less glass of white wine, one glass of champagne, 3 of white, one red and one desert wine were a lot. Loved the Alsatian white and great discovery with the desert wine from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Felt like a light Sauternes, but less sugary than a Jurançon.

A memorable dinner at Guy Savoy — I liked it, though I didn’t quite fall in love. The setting is magical, with a majestic entrance through the Palais de la Monnaie and stunning views over the Seine. Being welcomed personally by Chef Guy Savoy was a special touch. The starters, while refined, felt a bit bland. However, the mains were truly exceptional — rich, balanced, and full of flavor. The wine pairing with the sommelier was a real highlight: I had the pleasure of enjoying some of my favorite French wines all in one evening. Service throughout was attentive and polished, as expected. It’s undeniably pricey for a two-star, but if you can, it’s an experience worth trying at least once.
