Per Se

I recently hosted an executive dinner at Per Se for 28 guests, and it was truly an unforgettable evening. The events team was amazing from start to finish. They helped me plan every detail and were so accommodating, even pulling off last-minute name plates without a hitch. The private dining room was absolutely beautiful and set the perfect tone for the night. The service was exceptional. Everyone on the team was kind, attentive, and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. Now the food… just wow. Every dish was impressive, but the Atlantic black bass stole the show. It was the kind of meal people are still talking about days later. One thing that really stood out was the spirit-free pairing option. I’ve tried a few at Michelin-starred spots, but this one was by far the best. It was thoughtfully curated, creative, and genuinely elevated the experience. Per Se’s three Michelin stars are more than well deserved. This place delivers on every level. I can’t thank the team enough for helping me pull off such a special night.

I can't rave about this experience enough. It was everything I want from fine dining. The dining room overlooks the corner of Central Park through a wall of windows. I was seated at 5, so I got to watch the city darken as I ate. The service was immaculate. You are catered to every second. The meal was delicious and filling. I was full before my second meat course and stuffed after dessert. My favorite course was the sunchoke salad and bread and butter. The desserts were the best I've ever had at a Michelin star restaurant, and there are so many of them! Finding the restaurant is tricky. You enter the Shops at Columbus Circle mall and go up to the fourth floor. Then you walk past all the other restaurants until you reach Per Se. There are a lot of supplemental options on the menu that incur an additional charge. I skipped all of them and never felt like I was getting a lesser experience. In total, dinner cost $467. I paid that at the time of booking so I didn't have to pay anything at the end of the meal. They gave me a nice copy of the menu and a tiny tin of cookies as I was leaving.

This was our first fine dining experience and all I can say is wow. This restaurant blew us away! Starting with the staff. The entire staff was exceptional, very friendly, very curtious, and made you feel like one of their family members. As we went for our anniversary every staff memeber we encountered wished us a happy anniversary and even included a speical "kisses" dessert. Hats off to Taylor our somollier as well. He was absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to talk with as well as having a very vast knowledge of the wines he is providing. Onto the food. These dishes were phenomenal, the Oyster and pearls a classic, and the small bites at the beginning lived up to their reputation. The reason I give the food 4 starts was becuase the Amish chicken we had and the cheese dish just didn't feel right, while they were fine and it was probably a "me" problem they just didn't do it for me. Other than those, the meal was perfect. The dessert. I'm putting dessert in it's own section as it was our absolute favorite part. This sampling done by the pastry chef was unbelievable. Expertly crafted with some of the most rich and enjoyable flavors I've ever experienced. The dessert alone is almost worth the price tag. The atmosphere. The setting was so tasteful and elegant. It allowed my wife and I to feel like we were the only two there while we were surrounded by a full dining room. The music selection ranged from Steely Dan to Sister Golden Hair by America. The dining room felt more like a friend's living room than a 3 michelin star dining room in the best way possible. Our seating was close enough to the kitchen to hear them call out an order in unison however you heard nothing else from them, which to us was a true testament to the professionalism that Per Se provides for its patrons. Per Se was worth every penny we spent on it. An unforgettable night made possible by every member of their team.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here with my family, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. My expectations were high, yet they were effortlessly exceeded by the impeccable cuisine, warm hospitality, flawless service, breathtaking views, and enchanting ambiance. The dessert course was a true masterpiece, and the evening was made even more memorable with a tour of the kitchen. Without a doubt, this was the most exceptional dining experience I have had in New York.

Now this is what I expect when dining at a 3 Michelin star restaurant. The food was AMAZING and the staff were very attentive to our needs. They do go a little crazy on the desserts but youre already super full by the time those come out. everything was so masterfully prepared and everything just felt relaxing.
