Peninsula Bay Resort

Overall, we loved this place and plan to stay again! It’s in a quiet location just off the main road (approx 10min walk/2 min shuttle bus) and sits right on the bay. The staff are lovely and the rooms are great. We loved the pools (so many to choose from!!) and there is a lot of space and chairs to sit at. The breakfast was amazing too!! Don’t listen to the other reviews regarding time share - yes it is a time share hotel but it doesn’t affect your stay. We were never once asked about a time share opportunity but did say that it would be a fab place to invest in for the future as we loved it that much!!

Peninsular Bay resort is tucked away down a small street and situation next to the bay, so nice and quiet. The rooms are very generously proportioned and well maintained. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The extensive buffet is a great way to start each day.

Wonderful resort. Huge 2 bedroom apartment. Staff are the most friendly and the service is impeccable. 4 pools one with swim up bar. Can’t wait to go back

don't ever go! scammers! yes there is a legitimate resort but they scam tourists who are fluent in English to go "view the new resort to help promote". with a free taxi "to and back" you will be given a "lucky dip" voucher that they open and can only redeemed it at the resort. one of you will win t-shirts and the other the "top prize" of 10m idr, iPad mini or luxury holiday within 2 years. Now it makes sense why they only target couples as it seems everyone will have one of each prize. They want way too much information yet when we were approached by "Bonny" we explained we were literally just going to the shop with a small amount of cash and have nothing with us and he assured us it was ok. When we finally got to the resort they wanted to see our passports. Luckily I had grab on my phone and had signal so was able to order a taxi to get the hell out of there! Anyone thinking of staying there for a holiday I would say avoid because you are allowing them to continue to scam tourists, it needs shutting down! We also witnessed other holiday makers experiencing the same scam. There is no prize!

I've given this place 1 star, as I can't give 0 stars. We were tricked into going to this place on the promise of prizes, merely to have a look at it, to recommend to friends to visit. Much to the dismay of the fraudsters, I worked out their plan to sell us timeshares in the first 5 minutes. I was offered a free lift back to our hotel. I rejected their 'kind' offer of a lift, fearing that my families bodies maybe found floating in the shallow waters of Kuta Beach. Give this place a miss and tell ALL your friends.
