Excellent Hospitality at Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel We had a very pleasant stay at Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and ideally located, making our visit truly enjoyable. A special mention to Sathy and another staff member who went out of their way to assist us during breakfast. Even though we only had breakfast included in our package, they helped us find suitable food, cleared our used utensils promptly, and kindly brought us tea. Amazing stay! The hotel is super close to Masjid Nabawi — less than 2 minutes’ walk. The room was very clean and tidy, with all the amenities we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the area around has plenty of shops and restaurants. Especially the Zamzam Suite — it was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Madinah.

Unfortunately, we had to check out earlier than planned due to several issues encountered during our stay. As a large group, we found that the rooms—particularly the bathrooms—were quite outdated. We also experienced issues with cleanliness. There were visible marks on the bed sheets, the chairs appeared unclean, stains on the floor, issues with sockets and upon arrival, the sinks and bathtub were not clean. While the housekeeping staff were kind and helpful, they informed us that the bathtub had paint marks and a dent, which they did their best to address. However, similar problems were present across all our rooms, so there was little point in requesting a move. Breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was limited, with minimal variety. Although pancakes were available for the children, there were no toppings or spreads. When we asked the staff, we were told that none were available, leaving the children to eat them plain. Additionally, when my child went to get food five minutes before breakfast service ended, he was refused service despite the dining area remaining open for seating until noon. We also encountered long waiting times for the lifts—sometimes up to ten minutes—and the elevators themselves appeared poorly maintained. Given that the hotel is advertised as five-star accommodation, we were very disappointed, as the facilities and service did not reflect that rating. We also noticed several other guests expressing similar concerns about their rooms and the overall standards at reception. While we sincerely appreciate the courtesy and efforts of some of the staff, cleanliness and maintenance are fundamental to guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations, and we decided to check out early and move to another hotel, which offered a much better experience.
