Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort

An unforgettable Maldivian escape just 15 minutes from the airport! We had a wonderful stay at Malahini Kuda Bandos. The speedboat transfer was smooth and super quick—perfect for a short getaway. The island is stunning, with soft white sands, clear turquoise water, and lush greenery all around. What stood out the most was the hospitality—every staff member we met was warm, professional, and always willing to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially loved the beach access right outside. Food at the buffet was diverse and tasty, with plenty of options to suit different preferences. We also tried the spa and it was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and conveniently located island experience in the Maldives. A hidden gem worth visiting! 🌴✨

The hotel is just 12 minutes from the airport by speedboat, which is very convenient. We stayed in a sunset view room — it was beautiful. The restaurant’s interior is stylish, breakfast is tasty, and dinners are truly exceptional with international options. Staff are very attentive, cleaning the room twice daily and responding quickly to any issues. They also helped us with early and late check-out. The only downsides were the rocky, low-visibility shoreline — sea shoes are a must — and the presence of boats and jet skis near swimming areas, which can be a bit distracting. Overall, a great place with beautiful views and excellent service.

We absolutely loved our stay at Malahini. The hotel is located on a small, stunning island just a short boat ride from the airport — truly a paradise on earth. You can snorkel all around the island and discover the incredible underwater world, and the hotel even provides snorkels and masks as part of the all-inclusive package. The rooms were well-equipped, the food was delicious throughout our entire stay, and we also enjoyed a private beach dinner — a truly romantic and unforgettable experience. We highly recommend booking a massage during your stay as well. Don’t miss the free excursion to a local island, which was a great way to see a different side of the Maldives. An amazing stay from start to finish!

I recently visited Malahini Hotel in the Maldives and had a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were perfect—very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The food was excellent, and the chef was truly professional. The organization in the restaurant was also outstanding. Check-in was smooth and perfectly handled. A special thanks goes to Ms. Nouhaila, the Moroccan lady at the front desk—she was extremely professional, helpful, and welcoming. Big applause to her 👌👏. However, I would like to mention one negative point. When I extended my room stay, I was assisted by Ms. Kritika at reception, and unfortunately, she was quite rude. She did not provide proper information to guests, wasn’t even smiling, and showed a lack of customer service skills. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but I have never encountered such behavior. In my opinion, she seems to be the wrong person in the wrong position and requires proper training in hospitality. Overall, apart from this incident, I had a great stay and would happily return.

Overall, is a good 3 star hotel with a few rooms/villas that are top class. We stayed at villa 107, which in my opinion is one of the best. A lot of privacy when at the deck, and also the bathroom is further away. Nice touches like the White Company products, the Nespresso, good towels too. We had the breakfast at the deck and also the floating breakfast included. The buffet is really good, every meal is different and good quality. The service although is not very good. We requested a late check out (or to book a lower quality room) as our flight was 9pm from Malé; we did this request the first day and only the night before they told us that late check out wasn’t possible but it was very hard to book the extra room too… the communication was very bad. They should have told us to book it straight away and not to wait until last night. Then, we got the full board which it is not clear if the drinks are or are not included during meals. Overall, like I said, a 3 star hotel with a few good rooms and close to male.
