Le Meridien Towers Makkah

I recently dined at Le Meridien Towers Makkah and had a pleasant experience overall. Food: Chef Mahmoud and Chef Hakim have a great sense of taste when it comes to flavors. While the quality wasn’t the best, the food was enjoyable, and we left satisfied. Service: Abdulrahman and Nour were exceptional. They welcomed all our thoughts and ensured we had a great dining experience with their attentive service.

We only stayed here for one night but had no issues. We originally booked two separate rooms but greatly appreciated the room upgrade to a 2 bedroom suites. The parking is free and right behind the hotel which was convenient. They allowed us to leave our car there even after we checked out. It is a bunch of hotels (towers) in a line, we were in tower 5. Be aware some of the hotels are uphill, so ask to be in tower 5 if you can’t walk uphill. The shuttle bus comes frequently, and is about a 3 minute ride, but leave yourself 20-25 minutes to get to inside the masjid, as the bus doesn’t leave right away. It drops you off behind the clock tower, then you walk through the garage part of the clock tower, take the escalators and exit on the other side of the clock tower near the masjid. To get back to the hotel, look for the Kudai bus stop signs right outside the main entrance to the clock tower. We didn’t know this initially and walked all the way around the clock tower and it took much longer. All the yellow buses stop at Le Méridien first. Be prepared to wait in a very long line to get back to your hotel after prayers. Overall we would definitely stay here again as it’s pretty close to haram and very affordable. The shops on floor M in tower 5 are very reasonably prices for abayas etc especially compared to the clock tower!!

Excellent location for those planning to rent a car. You avoid the traffic jams and parking is free. Recent changes to shuttle service have made this hotel a bit inconvenient as now you have to wait in long queues to board buses and sometimes it takes as much as 30 mins. When I visited last year, it was super convenient as there was always a bus waiting for you and going to haram and back hardly took 10 mins. Breakfast buffet is just ok. The food selection is not the best, and bakery items are sometimes stale. However, at SAR30 for 2 persons, it's still worth it.

We payed for a double room . We received a room with 4 beds in . Absolutely no room to move wihout injuries to your feet. .You could not move around nowhere . Not even out of your bed! Appreciate the staff the work hard and don't get the credit .they deserve. Overall the standards and service don't mirror what's advertised! Restaurant ... the food is very repetitive. Again nothing to compliment about. The shuttle bus was filled with local residence. What's the point of offering the shuttle service if you fail to deliver this service.? With no prioty over the local residence.???? A que system would be beneficial for the Hotel customers and the local residence.

Strongly advised not to book this hotel from this year. They have now closed the tunnel under clock tower. You have to walk all the way to Ibrahim Khalil road and enter Haram. Too much walk. Strongly unadvisable
