Le Grande Bali

Want to stay at a hotel that's large, has a bath tub, AND a balcony? STAY HERE. The room decor might be a bit outdated, but I still had a great experience staying here. The AC gets super cold (which I loved), and while the bed could be improved a bit, I still slept really well. The bathroom comes with both a large bathtub and a separate shower, and they provide a generous amount of amenities—even sewing kits and a hairdryer! The staffs are also super friendly and helpful ❤️ Just a heads up: there’s no smart TV, so you won’t find streaming services like Netflix, Prime, or Hulu. But they do offer local channels and channels like HBO Max, which is a nice bonus if you're just winding down. Since it’s a large resort, be prepared to walk a bit from your room to the lobby or parking area—so wear comfy shoes or sandals! Overall, an amazing stay. Would definitely come back if I visit Bali again!

Overall a lovely 2 night stay at Le Grande! Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. My room didn't seem very dated, it was clean and large and the air-conditioning worked totally fine. Le Grande hotel complex itself was aesthetically pleasing and large. It had more than 1 swimming pool so that's ideal if you want to go to the slightly quieter one. I mostly ate south east asian foods from the restaurant for lunch/ dinner which was of good quality. Breakfast buffet had a decent range of items to choose from too. The only thing I would change about the dining experience is the fact there is no air con in the seating area of the restaurant. As the hotel is located in a larger hotel complex, a car or scooter is definitely needed to get out and about but that isn't a massive expense. I'd recommend this hotel for solo and group travellers, certainly good value for money and a pleasant stay

The service at this hotel is so exceptional that it’s worth even more than the room price itself — it makes it easy to overlook the fact that the rooms are a bit dated and could use some renovation. If you’re planning to spend your days exploring Uluwatu and nearby areas, this is an ideal and very affordable option. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, though there are a limited number of power outlets. Room service is available all night, and the food is genuinely delicious. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the team is always attentive and ready to assist. The hotel grounds are spacious and well-maintained. Some of the decorative ponds could be cleaner, but overall the environment is lovely. The first impression of the room might be mixed, but after a few days, the excellent service more than makes up for the shortcomings in the interior design.

The hotel is isolated on a private area with controlled access, probably 1 mile from the entrance. Staff extremely friendly, hotel is dated but being kind of maintained, needs painting here and there. We had a two bedroom suite which was extremely large, had a kitchen area but no kitchen items less the kettle so if ordering food in no utensils. 2 pools both warm but have tiles missing or cracked. The food offering is less than average, we had breakfast included and truly not impressed. Ordered food at the pool took over 80 minutes to arrive. If you want to relax and get away from the hustle of road this hotel is ideal but do not have high hopes.

Not a 5 star hotel by any means. Super dated, run down and old. The grounds are nice. The food is exceptionally basic, the dining room is stiflingly hot no AC only a few fans. Even the local staff were fanning themselves. The service wasn't great, staff appear really inattentive and a bit unhappy not very helpful. You can't charge anything to the room only when you eat in the restaurant so carry cash/card when atbthe pool. The bedroom was awful rotten old stained floors and the bathroom even worse. The buffet breakfast is not worth it, stale bread weirdly with communal butter, really unhygienic. All the fruit and fresh food was out in the roasting hot elements of the dining room. They need to hold back on the cheap airfreshener it's sickly. Wouldn't stay again
