Katara Hills Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts

The hotel rooms are stunning and private. Thoughtfully designed. The pool in the room was heated to the perfect temperature. The views are amazing. To top it all off, each and every person we came in contact with provided exceptional service. The hotel was generous in not charging extra for my daughter's breakfast. The food was excellent as was the service, with big portion sizes. The buggies were readily available for pick up and drop off. The location is great, you can walk to the heart of Katara within 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

I chose this resort, as it would be a beautiful and private place to propose while in Qatar. The pictures on the site look amazing. They say each villa has a butler, and based on the cost, I figured customer service would be top notch. After booking my villa, I called and told them of my plans to propose and if they could help me coordinate getting flowers and decorations set up in the villa. I was told no and that I could bring my own small decorations. I was curious to see if others had experienced similar issues and I see many complaints of poor service, unclean rooms, and malfunctioning equipment. Update: After calling back to coordinate my friends' access to the villa to decorate, I was told that they actually had romance packages and they could decorate the room. So, not sure if the person I spoke to originally was new, but the response from staff has been much more helpful. Will update again afterward. Update: So after our experience changed my review to 5 stars. After the initial confusion was cleared up with regards to setting up decorations the staff were on point and did an amazing job with setting up the room. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Villa was amazing! Would highly recommend for your special occassion!

From the second we entered Katara Hills, we were in awe. Fresh juice served upon arrival. AMAZING Experience! Iyad and Leila were extremely helpful for check in and check out. We were confused with the hot water in the villa, Suda came literally in 2 minutes after our text to the front desk and guided us. George and Denmiz helped with showing us our villa and taking our luggage. All in all, 100/10 experience. If you have kids, they'll make lifelong memories at this beautiful resort.

First of all i would like to express my gratitude to the receptionist layla, she was kind, understanding and cooperative. But i would like to mention that there must be coordination between the reception and the reservation staff, the reservation staff sent me a pdf stating the condition for hosting an event different than the one that the reception have that cause a lot of misunderstandings and delays to the things i have booked, but as i said, layla handeld the situation very well leaving me satisfied with the resort. Will definitely come back for more stays. But i still think the conditions for the events should change to make it easier for people to enjoy

We booked the biggest room, coming 2 rooms and a private pool! We have a private celebration which the room is already booked and the reception is screaming saying we have a new policy and are requesting more 1500 Qr payment fees to let the coffee cart inside and wasnt informed previously and the reception was being extremely rude and not allowing us to speak as well . Ridiculous service and disgusting customer service as well, on top of paying for the room there is no indication showing that if we order something from outside we would need to pay and type of fees. Literally worst experience ever , even the low
