JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha

My brother and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Doha. As a platinum bonvoy member, I have stayed at many of the Marriott properties in Doha, and I was extremely impressed with the flawless service at the JW. It felt like each staff member we met at the hotel, whether it was in the executive lounge or at breakfast, knew our names and knew about my brothers' peanut allergy. The manager of each team did an exceptional job of briefing the staff and offering a personalized experience. The buffet breakfast was by far the best I have seen in Doha. We were offered personalized baked goods every morning from the chef, and always greeted by name when we entered the restaurant. The lounge staff offered us personalized food and dessert each night, and when my brother didn't come to the lounge on our second night, the staff had his dinner packed up and brought to him in the room. The lounge staff remembered our drink order from the night before, and were incredibly courteous and thoughtful in their service. The pastry chef greeted us by name every day and made us a peanut-free personalized dessert each night. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment and because it was my brothers birthday, he was sang-to at check in and our room was decorated when we arrived. We also received a bowl of fruit upon arrival and cut fruit in our room later that afternoon. I cannot thank the staff enough for this experience, we felt very well-taken care of. There is only one small problem- we ate at multiple outlets during our stay, including Shanghai club, the pool bar, and room service, and my Marriott bonvoy account number was scanned each time we paid the bill. Unfortunately, we did not receive our points for any of the purchases. I checked about this issue at checkout and I was assured that they would be credited to my account after checkout. Unfortunately it has been a week and I have still not received the points. This is the only complaint I could make about this trip, as everything else far exceeded expectations. Thanks again to all of the staff, and we are looking forward to staying again!

Food taste and variety was not upto the value of the priced paid. The kabsa meat was blend and not grilled also had a meat smell. Briyani taste not that great as well. Deserts all were too sweet for ramadan sohur.

It’s a wonderful hotel, centrally located with mall access (very convenient). The staff was amazing especially at the rooftop Colombian restaurant! (I forgot the names but something like nazareah and few of the other staff members)…i hope to come back again. The room i stayed in was the luxury suite 1 bedroom/living room with floor to ceiling windows (absolutely no complaints and a great view). Mechanically operated blinds, everything was perfect - short visit but I’ll be back again.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Amazing service and friendly, helpful staff. Location was perfect for literally everything. Food was great - from breakfast through to dinner and room service.
