IRIS Boutique Hotel Granada

The rooms were very clean and nicely designed. One thing that was not ok, was the bottom of the bathrooms doors were scraped (probably from water or steam). The people at the reception were very kind and nice towards me (they even helped me order food by letting me using their phone number). Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and would kindly recommend

The new Granada Metro station is across the street. This was our first stay at Iris boutique hotel and to be honest we only had 6 hours before we had to go back to the airport.We appreciated the front desk was ready to help us at 1:30 in the morning. It was comfortable and on a quiet street (until construction nearby resumed in the morning). We plan to stay here in the future to take advantage of the metro from the Riyadh airport. The journey is scheduled to be 30-35 minutes from station to station.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it was okay at first sight, it had an eerie atmosphere, almost as if I were the only guest there. The rooms are poorly equipped and quite outdated, which was a bit disappointing. However, the biggest issue by far was the noise. Throughout my entire 3-night stay, I couldn’t get any sleep due to the metro bus running right next to my window. The constant noise and flashing lights made it nearly impossible to rest, which completely ruined my stay. Another downside was the restaurant service. If you get hungry after 2 PM—yes, not even late at night, but early afternoon—you’ll be out of luck. I was surprised to be told to go elsewhere because the chef had decided to leave for the day. This lack of service flexibility was frustrating and inconvenient. Overall, the hotel needs serious improvements in both comfort and service to provide a better guest experience.

WARNING. - 24 hour construction site next door - you will not be able to sleep. I stayed here 3 times before. On booking this time I did not see any note about construction - and not in the confirmation. So when I arrived at the hotel at 10pm and got to the room - I discovered the construction site next door. It ran all night. Banging. Truck sounds. Cutting metal. I thought a sleeping tablet would help. But no. I got less than 50% night sleep - and asked after for a 50% refund (it was $350 😳). The hotel refused a refund apparently because I didn’t complain to them (I booked through Expedia - not direct - so I complained to Expedia why they allow the hotel to sell full priced rooms without any warning of the construction 24/7. There is a tiny sign next to the lift. Really. Make people aware when they book that their overpriced rooms without any will not allow them to sleep. The rooms are actually nice. The breakfast adequate. And close to Granada Mall. And Granadia metro station. Pity that they don’t be honest about the construction.
