InterContinental Riyadh, an IHG Hotel

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms are junior suites so they're big, including a separate area with a desk and couch. Ample closet space, fast laundry service, in-room Espresso machine and 24-hr room service make this great for business travelers. One drawback is the bathroom, it was way too cramped and seemed like an afterthought to whoever designed it. The shower/tub combo wasn't wide enough and had this odd book at one end which reduced space. Water pressure was also quite low. The toilet was so close to the sink and door it took some adept ballet moves to get in and out there. The hotel's amenities were top notch: gym, 2 pools, sauna, steam room, cold plunge, tennis courts, bowling alley and more. The 24 hour gym is great, something you'd expect from a high end spot with multiple machines, lots of free weights and benches, and a separate room for calisthenics, yoga etc... the locker room facilities are also great, lots of showers and lockers available, water pressure much better than in rooms, and connected to the spa section. Tennis courts have nice lighting so you can play any time. I didn't try the pools but saw them and they are huge, one is outdoor and open to all and the other is indoor and has alternating times for males and females. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

We just had an Iftar meals for Ramadan 2025, the food is excellent, the services are prompt and the best thing about this hotel is it is in the center of the city and parking is of no issues. One of the oldest in Riyadh but still one of the best..

Almonsor, Alberto, Armando, & Noel have been fantastic every time I come down for breakfast or anytime I’m around the lobby of the hotel! Very hospitable and friendly, always made me feel cared for. Would 100% recommend this hotel to others.

Can you believe this was the first five-star hotel in Riyadh? It is very well maintained. I attended a Dadabhai Iftar there and must say that the hotel is huge and spacious. The staff is very friendly and well-mannered, and the food was delicious.

Our stay was acceptable, with many great entertainment facilities that added to the experience. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Talal Aldosary for his outstanding support in coordinating our requests after a miscommunication within the hotel. He truly saved the day! His professionalism and dedication made a big difference, and we truly appreciate his efforts.
