Equatorial Divers Lodge

Wonderful place well located on the island. Close to ferry boat for diving trip. The owner and his team are very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a pool and a great restaurant serving local and Indian food. They also helped me find a quiet beach with chair deck for the day. Amazing service which I strongly recommend !

So I dropped in here after flying into Gan while waiting for the speed boat to Fuvahmulah and was welcomed to stay in their very nice and comfortable air conditioned lobby with a cup of coffee. Now I'm back waiting for my departure flight and they're still as friendly and welcoming as ever. The location is perfect, directly across the street from the ferry station and next door to a nice market to pick up some basics. They gave me a tour of what looks like a lovely pool area and nice rooms above. I can't speak to what it's like to stay here but I did chat with them for a long while about diving around this island and they seem very knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a spa if you have some time and would like a massage. I would definitely book a couple of nights with this place to check out the diving situation the next time I'm in this part of the world.

A truly exceptional place. It's not luxurious but very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, everything is clean and tidy. But what makes this place special is the staff - people here are helpful, professional and with a very positive attitude. We had a marvelous time and could unwind after our diving trips.

it was short stay of 5 hours...rooms were clean but odour smell with toilet... I think some renovation works was going so during day time it was noisy...other than than it was good...

Stayed here for the second time now , and I can see the place has been runned down with minimal maintenance. The place is clean, but so runned down. The pool looks so dirty that I wont be jumping in for sure! The room is clean, but with the amount of sunlight coming into the room…its impossible to sleep in! The internet is strong enough to steam Youtube and Tiktok so thats a good thing to stay here!! There is a Thai Spa and Thai restaurant attached to the property…so thats also adding stars back to the review!
