Emaar Royal Hotel Medina

I had a wonderful experience at Emar Royal. The staff is very professional, attentive, and always willing to help. I would like to give special recognition to one of the receptionists, Ms. Kholod, who truly stood out with her exceptional service. She is professional, friendly, and goes above and beyond to assist guests, making the stay even more enjoyable. Her welcoming attitude and helpful nature reflect the high standards of the hotel. I highly recommend Emar Royal for anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere.

I had a wonderful stay at Emar Royal Hotel. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located close to the Prophet’s Mosque, especially near the Women’s Gate. The room service staff are professional, polite, and always helpful. The reception team is friendly and welcoming, making the check-in and overall experience very smooth. I would like to specially mention Mr. Ayman for his excellent cooperation and warm reception upon my arrival. The only minor issue I experienced was that some power outlets in the room were not working, but everything else was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madinah!

Great location but poor customer service, room service, zero to non housekeeping service non existing. Don’t even know where to start from. Called the house keeping for broken Tv remote control never changed it. So the children never get use the TV. Order food from the room service that was my mistake. I should have never order from the room service. They mixed up order. Served me one item at a time. Please people order from outside or eat outside they serve you left over food from the night buffet, Bad and rotten food. Whomever managing this hotel have no clue on food and service. GM needs knowledge of food and service. Very bad experience. I am definitely not going back to this hotel. My next visit I will stay somewhere else.

A very disappointing experience, in terms of looks and feel the hotel is nice. The lobby always smells nice when entering and there are several lifts to get you to the required floor. The biggest disappointment has been the actual rooms, the electricity has been deliberately wired in a way to make it hard for people to sleep or charge their devices. This means in order to have power to the sockets and charge your devices, you will need to keep the rooms lights on, obviously this makes it so uncomfortable after a long day in the masjid, you just want to come back and relax with just one lamp on and devices on charge to communicate with your loved ones. We also had several issues with our bathroom, with clogged shower & sink drain, and toilet flushing issues. To top it off we had some water leak in the bathroom from the roof, this had me worried as I did not know if this water is clean or not, and could it get mixed electrical wiring and cause a fire. This is clearly not a 5 star hotel more like a 3/4 star. The hotel chain should be ashamed of making things difficult for the guests of Allah, instead of making things easier. Electrical charging points should be a standard feature in any hotel chain, never mind one that classes itself as 5 star. The beds are smaller than expected, especially when compared to the single beds we had at Pullman Zam Zam Makkah. The location is great as it is only 3-4 mins to get to the masjid and is ideal for ladies as it closer to their entry points by gate 339. Unfortunately I would NOT use this hotel again, purely because of the deliberate inconvenience it has caused with its intentional electrical wiring design.

The one good thing about this hotel, close to gate 338, women's entrance for the Mrs and daughter. Now this hotel if you're thinking about booking it, especially if your from the UK "Don't". It is not set to cater for us as it is Arab focused. First night there, door broken, air-conditioning control fell apart, shower broken, screw sticking out of floor in bathroom and no soap or hand towels. Took me 4 visits to the reception and needing to be firm in the way I spoke for them to sort this out. When we went to sleep and turned the lights off, our phones stopped charging. What they don't mention is when lights go off so does the power. Saving grace is they give you one socket under the TV that has power, good luck to you if there is more then one person with a device or children with tablets. Let's talk about the beds which look like they were built for hobbits to sleep in. If you are tall your legs will be sticking out. Now breakfast if you get a package that includes this. The only word I can use is CRAP. They don't have simple things like orange or apple juice for children or adults. No sausages or decent selection of baked goods. You do get a lot of rice, meet balls and fried chicken fingers for breakfast. If you want to get a stomach ache and soil yourself, fill your boots. After having a chat and with the restaurant manager we managed to get some juice on day 3 of our visit. Now service, if you call for the room to be cleaned or ask for anything in general be prepared to make multiple calls before it is actioned. This is not a 5* Hotel in any way, would be pushing it saying its a 4*. Just pay a bit more and go to a hotel that is better. Don't waste your money here.
