Eleven Madison Park

The Legend Falls Eleven Madison Park was once one of the very best restaurants in the world. It held three Michelin stars for years and even reached #1 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2017. Back then, it was my absolute favorite—the food tasted incredible and every meal felt elegant and special. Unfortunately, after the restaurant switched to a plant-based menu, things changed for the worse. We went back twice after the transition, but that original top-tier flavor and experience just never came back. Here, I’m sharing some legendary photos from its glory days, back when meat was still on the menu.

The service is flawless, warm, and deeply attentive without being intrusive. Each course is a creative masterpiece beautifully presented, full of flavor, and thoughtfully explained by the staff. The plant based menu is proof that fine dining doesn’t need to rely on animal products to be exceptional. Every dish feels both artistic and deeply satisfying. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just indulging in one of the world’s top culinary destinations, this place delivers on every level. Highly recommended.

Eleven Madison Park was incredible once again. I’m constantly amazed by the creativity and beauty of their plant-based menu—rooted in the seasons and completely reimagining what a multi-course meal can be. This isn’t your typical “starter, meat centerpiece, dessert” setup. It’s a thoughtful, artistic journey through flavors, textures, and unexpected delights. I saw another review say “don’t come hungry.” I couldn’t disagree more. I came hungry and left completely full and satisfied. And the staff? Absolutely outstanding. Warm, attentive, and genuinely proud of the experience they’re curating. Truly a special place.

Having dinner here was an absolute dream. The attention to detail was unparalleled, both in terms of the food and the service. All of the dishes were a marvel of sophisticated and nuanced flavors, with exciting textures and unusual ingredients. The restaurant is as visually stunning as the food, too. An absolute must!

I went here after years of anticipation for a chef’s experience birthday dinner. There were some really nice touches like the house made granola he gave me as a gift at the end but overall compared to other restaurants it was a little underwhelming. I usually keep Halal and I know that 11 Madison Park has gone entirely plant based and while The creativity was impressive, I found sunflower butter to be a tad bit overused. There was also a conspicuous lack of abuse bouches relative to their peer restaurants in the city and around the world in the La grande table du monde league. The service was Michelin level in terms of being attentive without being obstructive and invasive. I appreciated the tagin inspired potato and the “ land caviar” they have been featuring heavily called “tonburi”. The eggplant fritter with the chilli jam was my favorite along with the global rotation of flavors in each dish. The original dessert with berries and cream was remarkable, but the chocolate that I ordered left something to be desired. The mocktail’s definitely delivered as did the tea and the croissant. I will probably come back for the lounge but stick to à la carte..
