Crowne Plaza Manama (Bahrain), an IHG Hotel

Great hotel, spotlessly clean and all the staff were helpful, polite & cheerful. Excellent breakfasts and food in the on site, strangely London themed bar was spot on. Didn’t get to dine in the restaurant but the Piani bar next door was phenomenal- will be reviewing separately. The pool is small and was quite busy over the weekend but was quieter in the week.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place is very clean and quiet, making it perfect for relaxation. I also want to thank the receptionist, for her kindness and professionalism. She was very helpful and made my stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!"

We went to have dinner in La Mosaique restaurant in Crown Plaza. The food was so excellent and the service of the staffs were highly appreciative. Foods were uncountable. The restaurant supervisor Mr. PURNA was reaching to all areas in serving us and as well as other guests. His service is particularly appreciative. I personally recommend you to have try in this restaurant for breakfast or lunch or dinner.

The hotel was excellent overall, although the absence of a lift was a minor inconvenience. Everything else exceeded expectations, particularly the breakfast and the exceptional service provided by the restaurant staff. A special mention to their manager, Puna (if I recall correctly), who was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.”

First of all, we were checked in four hours late for the first king size bedroom and five hours late for the other bedroom, which was extremely inconvenient. My experience at the swimming pool was also very unpleasant. Bigo, the club manager, has been consistently unprofessional and disrespectful, even toward the kids since day one. At first, I thought he might just be having a bad day, but it quickly became clear that this is simply his usual attitude. I honestly don’t understand how someone with that kind of behavior is in a management position. If the manager acts this way, it’s hard to blame the rest of the staff for being unhelpful or poorly trained. During one incident, I went to the gym to get a water bottle, and Bigo confronted me with a bad attitude, insisting I had to buy it from the pool, gym water is free. He continued to follow me around afterward, even to the restroom, which made me very uncomfortable, He also didn’t help with turning on the sauna or steam room. Room service has been painfully slow, the food is subpar, and staff members often seem uninformed. I also had an issue when I ordered towels I was told they would arrive in 2 minutes, but they never came. I ended up having to wait in the restroom until my sibling went down and got one for me. The only gesture the hotel made to make up for these issues was offering a 3-hour late check-out. I sincerely hope the hotel reads this review and starts holding itself to the professional standards it claims to uphold.
