After checking in at the Waldorf Astoria, I asked the front desk for a dinner recommendation and was directed to this restaurant. I ordered the raw shrimp and the lamb chops—both were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and incredibly fresh. The wine selection was also excellent. I must also mention the warm, freshly served bread at the beginning of the meal—it made me so happy, as I’m always disappointed when restaurants serve cold bread, but B&B never let me down. From my table, the view of the city skyline reminded me of my hometown, Shanghai, making the evening even more special. Stephen, the staff member who served me, was exceptionally professional, introducing the menu and each dish with great care. He was courteous and refined, which made the entire dining experience truly memorable.

The Heirloom Luncheon - an absolute must-try for anyone who appreciates refined flavors, excellent value, and a beautiful dining experience. For AED 165 per person (starter + main), the quality of food and presentation is exceptional. We started with the Heritage carrots cooked over coals with hummus and dukkah, Seabass crudo with blood orange and miso, and the Wagyu beef tartare with pickled shimeji and perilla leaf — each dish was thoughtfully composed and packed with flavor. For mains, we had the Atlantic cod with red Thai curry and finger lime, the Picanha – MB5 Sanchoku Wagyu with black garlic and za’atar hollandaise, and added the Wagyu beef Wellington carved tableside (supplement AED 450). Every bite was indulgent and memorable — perfectly cooked, expertly seasoned, and beautifully plated. Whether you’re after elevated comfort or luxurious indulgence, this menu offers it all. Service was attentive, the setting is elegant yet relaxed, and the overall experience is well worth every dirham. It was not busy during our visit. Proud of the Filipino chef Allan. We’ve visited Bull and Bear twice now for Sunday roast. The first time, the food was absolutely exceptional – we were blown away by the depth of flavour in every element of the meal. I especially love the sharing-style presentation, which adds a lovely, communal feel to the experience. On our second visit, the food was still of good quality, but the restaurant was noticeably busier, and it felt like the flavours were tailored more towards catering for a higher volume of orders. That said, the standout both times has been the service. Stephen, our waiter, was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and took the time to explain each dish to us in detail – truly outstanding service. The views overlooking Downtown are stunning, and the setting of the restaurant is beautiful. I’d definitely recommend booking in advance for a window seat, as walk-in service may leave you with less of a view. Looking forward to coming back – hopefully at a quieter time – to enjoy the full experience again.
