AJWA Sultanahmet – Preferred Hotels LVX Collection

Visited this hotel in September 2024. It was an incredible trip. The staff at the hotel are the best. There’s nothing they can’t do for you so generous very genuine incredibly kind. The hotel itself is beautifully designed the lobby the rooms the spa are all perfect. It’s incredibly clean and well presented quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is wonderful excellent food beautiful views fantastic dining experience. A fantastic trip I would certainly stay here again. The whole hotel is absolutely beautiful and the team are some of the best service I’ve ever had. in particular they were very supportive when I hurt myself at one point and they surprised my mum with a happy birthday cake for her 80th birthday surprise without me even asking such a thoughtful and kind team

A real oasis in a bustling and busy city. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the service professional and appropriately attentive at all times. Beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant and sea view rooms worth the added expense.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in during my travels. This is very close to all important locations you want to be around in Istanbul. It is near the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, cistern, etc. It is very close to local transport, including buses, trams, trains. Very easy to get to Taksim square and boats/ships where are you can go to the Asian side and Bosporus. Aside from location, this hotel has excellent in outstanding support staff/service. Multiple people working at once. Happy to help you and always pleasant. Very accommodating and warm. The rooms are beautiful. Very well thought out. Everything is high-quality. Very clean. 10/10 experience. Would love to be back if we ever return to Istanbul.

An excellent hotel! I believe this is the best hotel in Istanbul for first time visitors, because you get to stay close by the major tourist sites in a hotel that makes you feel like a Sultan! The rooms and hotel areas are stunning and well fit the area. The dinner restaurant is quite tasty as well. Breakfast selection is a bit limited, but all the items are quite tasty, and the Turkish sausage was critical. Highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, and unfortunately, I was not impressed. The breakfast selection was very limited, with only a few dishes available, and not all of them were tasty. There were no meat options, just cold cuts and smoked salmon, which was quite disappointing. One of the cleaning staff used our phone charger to charge her phone while cleaning our room. I came back early from breakfast and saw her doing this, which felt inappropriate. Additionally, when the cleaner was placing clean towels in the bathroom, she stood on the bathtub with her shoes on, which I found quite unhygienic. There were constant issues with the amenities – they never refilled the shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner properly, and I had to remind them every time. They would add just a little bit each time. The body lotion was never replenished during my entire stay. Lastly, there was a layer of dust under the bed in the bedroom, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for at least a week or two. All in all, this hotel does not live up to its 5-star rating. The service was much worse than expected.
