Millennium Taiba Hotel

Enjoyed my stay here at the Millennium Taiba Hotel. Visiting from the United States the staff made us feel comfortable in a new environment. The restaurant had a good quality selection of food. It was clean and staff are very accommodating. Mohammed Reza, the restaurant supervisor, Mr. Bassam the manager and his staff did a great job in welcoming us and accommodating to anything we needed. They were friendly and made our stay memorable. We will definitely come back for another stay in the future!

The hotel is simply wonderful. The key feature of this hotel is its location, it's right on the first line, so you can easily go out for prayers. The location is very convenient, with all necessary facilities nearby. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help guests, they even upgraded our room to a larger one for free. There are plenty of elevators in the hotel, so there's never any waiting. The hotel is very quiet, and the room has everything needed for comfort, including all hygiene items and daily cleaning. The breakfast is very diverse and surprisingly affordable. You can also order food from the restaurant at any time - it's delivered quickly, beautifully presented, and tastes great. The laundry service is excellent as well, they collect your clothes and return them clean the same day. Everything is good, but the rooms could use a bit of renovation. You won't regret choosing this hotel.

Captain Rezaul in the first floor restaurant was really hospitable and friendly. He took good care of us and made sure we had all of our needs met. He made us feel welcome at dinner Even if you do not stay here, I would say you definitely have to visit the Ghamma café on the mezzanine level because Hakim, the barrister is a legend and absolutely takes care of you and makes sure that you are enjoying the stay. You need to ask him about his life story and how he got here. Makes you wonder how truly grateful we should be and how Allah looks after this his servants. Reception staff was really helpful. We used the gym and that was also clean and had loads of machines to use. Even has a spacial sauna and steam room. Location gets 4 stars only because I prefer being on the other side of the mosque near the Hilton hotel where there are better shopping facilities and more availability of food places. But it’s only 10 min walk to the other side.

I stayed here a few days ago and was very pleasantly surprised. Firstly and most importantly the reception staff, and all other staff were friendly and accommodating. This may sound strange for world travellers, however sometimes in Makkah and Medina this is not always the case. I've had arrogant and rude staff both in Makkah and Medina and it puts you off from staying again. It makes no difference if it's in the clock tower and 5 stars or not. However here, reception was always good and even a smile leaves a lasting impression. This hotel is 4 stars but don't let that deter you, you'll get a 5 star service. I will definitely like to stay here again without any hesitation. I hope management reads this and continues to encourage their staff to continue the way they are.

The hotel was good, and it seems to be under new management, which is clearly noticeable. They have adopted the e-menu and modern service methods like many others. The room provided had a partial view of the Masjid, which was pleasant. However, the shower was leaking badly and couldn’t be used properly—this needs immediate attention. One suggestion to the management would be to keep a weighing scale available for guests to check their baggage weight. It’s a small service but adds greatly to customer satisfaction and convenience. Breakfast and room service was OK as per the hotel standard
