Apex City of London Hotel

I have stayed here a couple of times for work. I find the location very convenient and the price not too expensive ( even though work usually pays!) The rooms are really nice and the area is very quiet so no London noise which is really nice if you need a good night sleep. The area is also the City of London, so it feels more ' classic' in the architecture and vibe. I had a lovely chat with one of the bar staff, who re-opened the bar for me just after they closed so I could enjoy a nice beer after a long day working. The drink was complementary, given for free by the manager. The rooms are great, the manager upgraded me to the family suite which was massive. It had a walk in shower and separate bath tub. TVs and even a little sofa seating area. You get all the usual creature comforts but feels a little bit more up market than other places I've stayed. It also has a little gym which is not the best gym but very good for a " hotel gym" and allowed me to get in a good workout. All in all, a great experience staying here! I would definitely stay again and recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay at the Apex City of London Hotel! The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very well-appointed, with incredibly comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Tower of London and other central sights, which made getting around super convenient. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff — everyone I interacted with went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it a great place to unwind after a busy day in the city. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!

Apex is a fantastic hotel! It's super clean and high end. The rooms were lovely and fresh. The rubber duck was a lovely touch and I look forward to giving him a nice new home 😆 Highly recommend for all. The front of house/reception staff were so helpful and extremely friendly.

Exceptional Stay in the Heart of London! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Apex City of London Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the room was immaculate — modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being so centrally located. The bathroom was sleek and spotless, with a fantastic rain shower. The in-room touches like a Nespresso machine, plush robes, and high-quality toiletries made the stay feel luxurious.

Overall I had a good stay. The room and bathroom were clean and good size if you’re traveling alone. The bed was comfortable, included breakfast was exceptional and the gym had enough equipment for a quick cardio exercise. The staff at front desk were welcoming and were able to check in and out quickly. My only gripe about the stay was the carpet which had couple visible stains. Location is as prime as it can get for London city.
