Kurumba Maldives

We had a wonderful time at Kurumba. We stayed in a bungalow on the beach which was perfect as we could come straight out on the beach and on to our loungers. The beach was soft white sand and the water light blue. The bungalow itself was spacious and we had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was lovely in the sunshine. We received great service from everyone, they were all very helpful. The food was excellent and a huge variety even in the standard restaurant. The bar, with live evening entertainment, was very nice too. The transport to and from the airport was easy and a short journey. One minor niggle was that Male has become more built up since our visit years ago with the result a small part of the view from the island is now more obviously of the capital itself. It did not bother us however. We are looking forward to returning in 2026.

From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly located with stunning views and crystal-clear waters. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were truly outstanding — friendly, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and well cared for. Their hospitality made the stay feel extra special. The food was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality dishes across the restaurants. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making dining a highlight of the stay. Overall, Kurumba Maldives offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and warm hospitality. It was an amazing experience, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing Maldives getaway. I can’t wait to return

I very much enjoyed my stay on Kurumba Island. First of all, the resort is a little tropical gem. A big thank-you goes out to the staff who are constantly taking care of the beautiful garden areas. Yes, it is close to Malé and the airport, and yes, on one side of the island you can see the skyscrapers and watch airplanes taking off. However, it never really distracted me. The food was great, and the restaurant staff were very friendly and caring. I really appreciated having the opportunity to choose between different restaurants. Special thanks to Nur, April, Amaan, Saeed, and Hazar — you made my stay truly enjoyable. I also spent a lot of time in the spa. I would like to mention the spa manager (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name), who provided wonderful support and showed a lot of patience while I was choosing my treatments. My thanks also go to the therapists Maria and Rani for their excellent treatments, and to the receptionist Ravi for his warm and welcoming attitude! Although I was travelling on my own, I never felt like a “second-class guest,” as sometimes happens when travelling solo. During my stay, I found some peace of mind — more than I could have asked for. Thank you all!

We had an amazing time at Kurumba Maldives! The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is excellent, and everything feels relaxed and welcoming. A special thank you to Islam, the bartender – he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made our drinks perfect with a big smile. He truly made our evenings even more enjoyable. We can highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back! 🌴🍹

The hotel location, resort, people and service were exceptional. We stayed for one night after a business trip. It was pouring with rain and the resort was still beautiful and incredible. Literally paradise. The complimentary snorkelling equipment and areas were wonderful. The staff were very friendly and kind. The general manager really cares about this hotel and its guests. The late check out was so helpful with a baby. Unfortunately our room had some deficiencies. We asked for a cot for our 8 month old but had to call for it twice. The room had its own pool but the jets were not working. It was fixed by 7pm. The bath had a tap that did not work and water couldn’t be turned off. Again this was fixed by 7pm. There was only one bath robe in the wardrobe and there were two of us. We couldn’t be bothered to call again after calling 4 times already. This was all a bit disappointing because we did pay over 400 for the room and really thought these things would be working. We couldn’t really use the pool or the bath on our first day and were only staying one night. The resort really is lovely and we would not hesitate to go back. It was a great experience but all of those problems with the room could have been avoided and it is a lot of money to pay. The staff, including those helping on email were professional and accommodating. As said above, the people are lovely. It is really close to make airport as well which is great.
