Pyramisa Suites Hotel

We accidentally booked the wrong room type on Agoda — we had intended to reserve a double bed room but mistakenly booked a twin bed room instead. We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Mahmoud at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us. Despite the hotel being almost fully booked, he managed to arrange a wonderful double bed room for us. To our surprise and delight, the room even came with a fruit platter, which made the experience feel like a honeymoon. His warm service and professionalism truly made a difference in our stay. We sincerely thank Mr. Mahmoud and wish him all the best in his work. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Captain Mr. Abdel Hamid, who kindly helped us move our luggage during the room change. His attentive and responsible attitude left a great impression on us. We wish him continued success in his career as well.

Such a nice and clean Hotel. The rooms are new, service is really good and kind.. There is a buffet with daily changing menues. The food is very good , fresh and tasty. The service in the whole hotel is kind and politely. If something is missing, just tell and it will be done quickly. We had a whole week with several people in the Pyramisa and everybody was happy and satisfied. Sure we’ll come back again !

Exceptional Service and Hospitality! I had the pleasure of holding a training session at this hotel, and I cannot praise the team enough. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence were truly outstanding. Every aspect of the event was handled with precision—punctuality, seamless coordination, and an impressive level of flexibility that made everything flow effortlessly. The hospitality was exceptional, and it was evident that every team member, from the smallest role to the largest, took great pride in their work. Their dedication and genuine care created a welcoming and supportive environment, making my experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for any event or training—it's a place where quality service and warm hospitality come together perfectly.

If you don’t mind the smell of cigarettes, dirt, filth, mold, dampness, and dishonest, lackluster service, then this is the place for you. Read on. I feel compelled to leave this review due to the hotel’s sheer incompetence, lack of care, dishonesty, and absence of integrity. We booked this hotel from the UK, relying on well-known booking platforms that still, to this day, showcase impeccable images of the hotel, rooms, and facilities. However, when we arrived at 1 AM with two toddlers, the reality that greeted us was nothing short of shocking. It’s understandable that things can go wrong at a hotel, but here, almost everything did. The entrance, lobby, lifts, restaurants, hallways, and rooms all reeked of cigarettes. Despite “No Smoking” signs, cigarette sandpits overflowing with butts were placed right outside the lifts. The lifts, common toilets, and hallways appeared as though they hadn’t been cleaned in months—covered in dirt, hair, and trash. The carpets, wooden fixtures, and furniture were aged and worn. Walls had severe water damage, with large sections of paint and plaster peeling off—none of which was reflected in the images on booking websites. The room itself was awful—old, dusty, and neglected. The empty fridge was covered in black mold, clearly uncleaned for months. The bathroom was in a terrible state, with missing sealant and mold everywhere. With our child suffering from asthma, this was simply unacceptable. The shower was rusted, and even before we used the toilet, puddles of water had already accumulated on the floor. To make matters worse, the bathroom door stopper was missing, leaving behind a protruding 1 cm screw—a clear health and safety hazard. For a family of four (two adults and two children), we were provided with two single beds. When we raised this issue with the hotel manager, she claimed they were “double beds for children.” We requested extra beds, but even after four hours, none were provided. The hotel’s WiFi never worked. When we reported these issues to reception, they told us to “call 0 for help.” However, calling resulted in being placed on hold indefinitely. When we returned to reception in person, we were told the hotel was full and that we should check back in the morning. The next day, after further complaints, the manager reluctantly showed us alternative rooms—each worse than the one we were already in. When I asked if she would personally use the shower in these rooms, she had no answer. Her response kept shifting—from “no rooms are available” to “I can show you one” to admitting there was a refurbished block, then back to “no rooms available in that block” before finally conceding that a room was, in fact, available there. After hours of back-and-forth, we were finally moved to the refurbished block. While the room was somewhat better, many of the issues remained—dirty hallways, cigarette smells, and incorrect bed arrangements. This hotel clearly has no regard for health and safety, is dishonest with guests, and lacks basic hospitality standards. Our family was completely disappointed, and we’re leaving this review to help others avoid the same experience. Don’t just take my word for it—look at the attached photos and see for yourself.

1/5 - Very Disappointing Stay Our experience at Pyramisa Hotel Cairo was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. The first room we were given was completely unclean—not just untidy, but genuinely dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned. There were no hand towels, no bottled water, and shockingly, not even toilet paper in the room. To make things worse, the safe was not working, which is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 5-star. When we raised our concerns at reception, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. After a long and frustrating argument, they eventually moved us to a deluxe room (THE NEXT NIGHT), which was at least in better condition but still nowhere near 5-star quality. Even in the upgraded room, the internet was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to even check emails or plan our days. The only saving grace of this hotel is its location, which provides easy access to Cairo’s main attractions. However, I would strongly advise paying more to stay at a reputable international hotel rather than wasting money here. Pyramisa should not be advertised as a 5-star hotel—at best, it’s a 3-star experience. Avoid if you expect quality service and cleanliness!
