The best part staying here is they have a really good selection on breakfast . Dinner buffet was not good comparably .Rooms are in good shape.My big advice please bring your own ac adapters for laptops and smartphone otherwise you’ll have to go buy one.English is still a barrier beside the front desk.Overall good place to stay otherwise and confirm your room number:for example 2600 mean block 2 room number 600.Thank you

I recently stayed at the Istanbul Gonen Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The location is convenient, with a large outlet shopping center just across the street, offering a variety of shopping and dining options. The breakfast menu offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. However, some guests have mentioned that the breakfast could benefit from more variety over time. Overall, the hotel provides a comfortable stay with excellent service, making it a good choice for travelers visiting Istanbul.

Unfortunately, Istanbul Gonen Hotel did not meet our expectations, especially considering it is rated as a 5-star hotel. While the rooms were spacious, they lacked cleanliness and ambiance. We also encountered several maintenance issues—a broken window, a shower that didn’t work properly, and dim lighting, which made the room feel dull and uninviting. The breakfast was disappointing, as some of the food was not tasty at all, and the selection remained almost the same every day, lacking variety. We previously stayed at a 4-star hotel in Istanbul, and our experience there was significantly better than at this so-called 5-star property. The only highlight of our stay was the swimming pool, which was well-maintained and enjoyable. Other than that, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience. Definitely not up to 5-star standards. 🌟🌟

The dining room staff gave my private information to another diner who apparently found me attractive. That person then stalked me on Instagram and reached out to tell me be loves me. Other than that, I would love to give this hotel a 5 star review but they clearly don't value the safety of single female travelers at this establishment. Edited to add: I have emailed you screenshots and send an Instagram message. Please don't ask me to reach out to you directly because I already have, but figured this hotel would not take the allegation seriously unless I made a public complaint. And since you are asking me to reach out to you directly, it is clear that you have already overlooked my attempts at direct communication with management.

Poor management and service. The male staff of the sports club is very rude. Not allow us using the gym centre even we comfortable clothing with barefoot shoes. He said the barefoot shoes is not the sporty shoes. And must wear sneakers and sporty wear such yoga pants and sport bar, not just T shirt. The style is not up to them standard, will destroy their professional sport style. The location is also bit mobile to the CBD. And next to the highway, bit noisy and no view at all. Not recommended.
