Soho House Istanbul

Excellent stay in a suite and room at this beautiful hotel. Great gym facilities and bar, comfortable quiet rooms with great decor. Bathroom could have been better lit in the larger suite. Service was great and staff accommodated some last moment requests very graciously. One of the better soho houses I have visited. Nice central location making it an easy walk to the main shopping area. Would definitely return

I had an amazing stay in Istanbul! The room, the historic building, and all the facilities were absolutely wonderful. However, one area that could be improved is the service at the bars and restaurants. The staff were neither friendly nor professional. For example, on Friday during a party, I ordered the same drink multiple times but was charged three different prices. While the differences weren’t huge, this shouldn’t have happened.

Extremely disappointing stay at what is supposed to be a five-star hotel. Loud music played until 2:30am every night - our entire room was shaking, and it was impossible to sleep. We were never warned about this in advance, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the front desk arranged a taxi to the airport and told us the fare would be around 1,600 TL and payable by card. The driver then demanded 2,000 TL and added another 350 TL when I asked to pay by card - an obvious scam that the hotel facilitated. Poor service, lack of transparency, and no accountability. Definitely not worth the price or the brand name. Would not recommend.

The rooms are shockingly small for what you pay, and to make matters worse, access to the rooftop bar is restricted unless you’re a member — something they fail to make clear upfront. To add insult to injury, the staff weren’t honest about the policy. When we asked about the rooftop, we were told it was “too busy” — yet our friends with membership sent us photos showing it was nearly empty, with most tables unoccupied. There’s simply no reason to stay here. Within 50 meters, you’ll find hotels with better rooms, better prices, and staff who treat guests with more transparency and respect.

The rooms are shockingly small and dark for what you pay, the service is not very good, staff members are un-interested and the lifts are crowded with service people that don’t even let guests come in/out of the hotel first To make matters worse, access to the rooftop bar is restricted unless you’re a member — something they fail to make clear upfront. the staff weren’t honest about the policy. When we asked about the rooftop, initially they said they would accommodate us, then they said it was “too busy” — yet our friends with membership sent us photos showing it was nearly empty, with most tables unoccupied. They effectively lie without caring about customer service. There’s simply no reason to stay here. Within 50 meters, you’ll find hotels with better rooms, better prices, and staff who treat guests with more transparency and respect. Definitely won’t be Staying at other Soho house hotels and/or ever even consider getting a membership.
