Akgun Istanbul Hotel

Excellent Stay! I highly recommend this hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the metro station. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. But what really impressed me was the delicious breakfast spread - it was a great way to start the day! Overall, a fantastic experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay! The location is perfect, close to the center and only a short walk from the metro station. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff was also very welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here on my next trip to Istanbul.

Maybe was good in the past…. Breakfast with lot of choice, all poor quality. Air conditioning in room super noisy, you cant sleep, shower not perfectly working, gym is a joke- just 4 broken tools and a mat smelly as if never cleaned for years. And must be reserved for max 1 hour, however there is not much to do after 10 min. Service is top but overall the hotel is in very poor conditions and not worth half the price asked Rooms are very hot and in even in march u sweat, facing the road, noisy

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. First of all, we booked a double bed, but there were two single beds and they put it together, but was not comfortable at all!! While sleeping, we had to wake up and put them back together!! I reported that 3 times at the reception, the only solution was "we're sorry, but there is no double bed available "!!! What! I booked it paid for it online before i even came to the hotel and got the confirmation number! And the furniture, the decorations, the materials, and the devices are so old! So i mean, for that price you should get a real 4 or 5 star service. I would rate this hotel as a 3 star hotel! Not more. The only good thing at this hotel was the breakfast! The most important thing in a hotel is the bed!! When you don't feel comfortable while sleeping, then your holiday will be definitely ruined! I was so disappointed when they treated me like that as i reported my situation in the room and they didn't react at all!

1) Before check-in, they didn't respond to any of our messages for 5 days. 2) For 5 days, they didn't clean the room even once. We talked to the reception and pressed the button, but it didn't work. 3) My sister came with a 4-year-old child. They didn't let us in, they said we needed a passport for that. The next day, they showed the child's passport, they told us to pay an extra 20 euros. The hotel has a good breakfast and location, but we really didn't like everything else!
