Cronton Design Hotel

My stay at Cronton Design Hotel was truly enchanting. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegance of the space and the attention to every detail. The room, of exceptional quality, felt like a true sanctuary: meticulous finishes, a vintage-style bathtub inviting total relaxation, and, above all, an incredibly comfortable bed that guarantees restful nights. You leave this place feeling rejuvenated, as if you’ve escaped the world for a while. The service was flawless, with a team that was always smiling and attentive to every need. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop restaurant: an incredible panoramic view of Istanbul, perfect for a romantic dinner or a sunset drink. I highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for an extraordinary getaway. It’s the perfect place to rekindle love, reconnect, and live an unforgettable experience in a setting that exudes romance and luxury. The Cronton Design Hotel is a small slice of paradise in the heart of Istanbul. The only downside was the breakfast. The menu lacked originality and didn’t showcase the richness of Turkish cuisine enough. However, the daytime ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, offering a chance to meet a variety of guests in a relaxed and friendly setting, which made up for this small flaw.

We went there for food, which was lovely but the atmosphere of the restaurant and especially on the terrace was amazing and definitely a mood booster. Definitely recommend it for a date night. It also had a live violin show, but unfortunately we caught it at the end. PS: we went there on February and they hadn’t taken out the Christmas tree which is something that I also loved because it made the atmosphere a lot warmer

Well this place is absolutely fantastic, right in the centre of it all. From the moment we arrived we were welcome with such professionalism and kindness. The staff were absolutely incredible!!! We had the Turkish experience in the spa also in the hotel and that was amazing! The Thai massage also was very very very goood. The breakfast was also very very good. We absolutely love this hotel and will be back in the future.

This charming historic (nicely renovated) hotel is in a terrific location. Most of the major sites are within walking distance of the hotel. The service is mostly very friendly. The housekeeping is rather charmingly erratic but you get what you need.There is a rooftop bar with a nice view of Galata from the terrace. The food, however, is rather mediocre both on the rooftop and in their ground floor restaurant. But the baklava is amazing!

We stayed at the Cronton Design Hotel in Istanbul from November 8 to November 11. We booked a room for three nights. When we arrived, the room had no heating and a terrible sewage smell. When we went to bed, we realized that the sheets were too small for the mattress, so when we woke up the next morning, not only was the mattress exposed, but our heads were almost lying directly on it. Additionally, the reservation at the restaurant, which was supposed to be made for us, was never done, so on Saturday evening, we had no option for dining in a good restaurant. This was disappointing, especially since we only had three nights in Istanbul. No apologies were offered by the staff, no solutions were proposed, and there was no financial compensation or even a small gesture in the room. I asked to speak to the manager several times, but no one ever contacted me. I heard 2 other couples complaining about the absence of hot water and the smell so clearly it must be something that happens often… While the location of this hotel is good, it is truly a place to avoid, as the service is disappointing.
