Very welcoming staff, Mohamed, Adil and the trainee guy were nice and professionnal. I strongly recommand this restaurant, especially the grilled mixed main course.

A fine Omani/Zanzibari restaurant in the Qurum area of Muscat very close to the Royal Opera House. They have a diverse menu of soups, salads, starters, main dishes, drinks, and desserts. They offer vegetarian, chicken, lamb, beef, and sea food dishes. They offer both traditional and fusion dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, and they have both outdoor and indoor seating. Staff are friendly, and service is top class. They accept both cash and card payments.

Recommended by W Muscat, it’s a nice restaurant but touristy. I will prefer to dine at Roznan but it was fully booked. Food is nice but lacks the ambience and more like a casual dining. The favours is a bit lacking. Order a chicken, shuwa, camel and a platter for appetisers. Service is good as per Omani hospitality. Price is average.

Got an opportunity to dine at this restaurant recently and had a mixed experience. The staff was very courteous and welcoming and i found the restaurant interior to be a good mix of tradition and modernity. The food was good, but our order took a very long time to be served. The salad was served to us after almost half n hour and the mixed grill kept getting delayed. And we were about to finish our meal when we had to remind our server that one item from our order was yet to be served which he went into the kitchen and brought out in a couple of minutes, it seemed microwaved. I know this is not usual for this restaurant considering the good reviews and the full restaurant on a mid week night. But this was our experience which i had to write honestly so that the Ubhar team can look into to decide if anything needs to be changed. Other than the time issue, it was a good experience for us
