A very fun and memorable experience! I went with my husband and we tried the eleven-course tasting menu along with the zero-proof drinks. It was exciting to try so many creative dishes that kept coming one after another. What made it even more special was how the staff took the time to explain each dish and share how the chef came up with it. It felt personal and unique. Totally recommend it for a date night!

A bit dim and romantic although I suppose that is what they want the atmosphere to feel like. The customer service was amazing, everyone seemed like they were passionate and knew what they were talking about. I ordered the set menue which the main chef (also owner) of the place came to explain, every dish was so beautifully made and super tasty! I normally don't enjoy too much seafood but this was great. The thought behind the foods and almost everything in the restaurant is immense, must try restaurant as it combines many cuisines into one.

I went to Jun’s for the first time today, after hearing about it for the past few years. We decided to order off the regular menu, though we had originally come for Dubai Restaurant Week. For the starters, we had the rainbow heirloom carrots and prawn toast. Both dishes were delicious, offering different enjoyable textures. But those carrots I’d been hearing about them for a while…I heard they were a must. They did not disappoint. My only disappointment was that I had to share. The mains we ordered included the Dan Dan noodles and Seabass. Both cooked to perfection, though I could have done with a bit more heat on the noodles. For dessert, we had the mango panna cotta—it was light and refreshing; and we ended with the frozen yogurt, served tableside with the components of honey, walnuts, a gojuchang cookie, and chili oil. Wow! It was the perfect ending to the meal!

We have high expectations for this restaurant. With all the rave reviews and our Asian background, we were excited about the flavors that would remind us of home. For appetizers, we ordered the salmon carpaccio and wagyu beef potstickers, and we loved both! The main courses were good, but they didn't quite meet our expectations. We tried the wagyu steak frites and miso sea bass claypot rice. The portions were generous, making them suitable for sharing. Lastly, the coconut ube pie dessert brought back wonderful memories from our childhood. It was truly nostalgic. ❤️

Juns restaurant was a mixed experience, not what I expected. I was really excited to try this restaurant, but honestly, it didn’t match my expectations. We started with the chili butter and warm bread — the butter was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor with a great texture, and the bread was soft and fresh. The only downside was the butter-to-bread ratio — way too much butter for the amount of bread provided. The labneh and carrot starter was both beautifully presented and flavorful, though a mouthful of plain labneh all at once was a bit overwhelming. For mains: The sea bass was one of the softest I’ve ever had, but I personally didn’t enjoy the strong fishy flavor. Not sure if that’s how it usually is, or just that day. The fennel and apple salad on top did help balance it a bit. We also ordered the chicken curry and asked for it mild, but it came very spicy. To their credit, the staff apologized sincerely and replaced it. The flavor was good, but the chicken had bones, skin, and cartilage — not my preference at all, although I know some people might enjoy that style. The vegetable tempura noodles were nicely cooked, and the sauce had great depth. The tempura was crispy and tasty, but unfortunately had an old oil flavor — something I wouldn’t expect from a place listed among the top 50 restaurants. For dessert: The strawberry panna cotta looked beautiful, topped with tapioca pearls — but the pearls didn’t really add anything and felt unnecessary. As a kind gesture (after the spicy chicken issue), they brought us an extra dessert — the Ube pie. It was interesting, a bit too sweet for me, and not something I’d order again. They also gave us a crème brûlée bubble tea dessert, which was amazing! The texture was spot on and the bubble tea topping added a unique finish. We also had two drinks — can’t recall the names, but they were just okay. Interesting flavors, but nothing memorable. The service was excellent — professional, attentive, and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The ambiance was classy and elegant. We went during Ramadan, so it was quiet and peaceful. Overall, it was an interesting experience, but the flavors didn’t really click for me. I probably wouldn’t return — though I can see how others might enjoy it. Pricing was fair for the kind of restaurant it is.
